So this was an interesting vignette I witnessed... along the shores of Hudson Bay, there were 3 polar bears napping in kelp beds all in a line parallel to the shore. Each was separated by only one or two hundred feet at the most. Then along came a very crabby bear who wanted a warm bed...reminded me of Goldilocks! The first bear it just passed by casually. The next bear's kelp bed apparently looked cozier! Click to enlarge the photo's! Here he makes an aggressive move toward the daybed.
No way Jose! You're not taking my bed!
He stood up and made it clear...keep it movin' buddy!
And...that he did, only to push the 3rd bear out of his! That bear saw him start to approach and didn't even put up a fuss. Just got out & flopped down about 20 feet away. Crabby bear rested about 15 minutes, then got up and continued along his way....then the original inhabitant snuggled back into his kelp bed!
