This is the mode of transportation that is used while exploring the tundra searching for bears! I don't remember all the dimensions, but I do know that it is 13&1/2 foot tall. I am almost the same height as the tires! Inside it's pretty roomy...like a school bus, but the aisle is about 5 feet wide, and there is a potty on board as well as a propane heater to keep us toasty. The back viewing platform does get pretty crowded though when the bears are near...They move fairly slow across the tundra and the drivers take great care to stay on the "path" as to not damage the tundra from repeated journeys.
Here's me next to Tundra Buggy #9 for perspective.
Here was a very curious bear....was probably wondering how he could get one of those people sandwiches to satisfy his hunger pangs!
Now just lean out the window........and come to papa!
I guess he gave up and decided to try to take a bite out of the buggy instead!
This bear seemed very curious, inspecting every inch of the front end of the vehicle!
Hello there driver!
I'm not sure what exactly he was doing down below, changing the oil??? At least this one didn't bite the vehicle.
